Noah Gundersen Announces New Album, "If This Is The End," Out September 8th

“My hope is that these songs will find you in the ways you need,” Gundersen summarizes. “Here’s another message in a bottle – I hope it washed up on your shore at just the right time.”

Noah Gundersen has announced ‘If This Is The End,’ out September 8th via Soundly Music. The follow up to 2021’s ‘A Pillar Of Salt’, Gundersen’s forthcoming album reflects on a soul searching period of his life after taking a step back from the music industry. ”I found myself disillusioned with the industry and no longer knew my place in it,” Gundersen recalls. “The world around me has changed rapidly and I sometimes have difficulty grasping it. There were moments when I felt I had lost the wind from my sails, but I still love creating music and I love these songs.” That time had been of large transitions for Gundersen. He married his wife Misha and they bought a home together. These songs are heavily informed by Gundersen’s overall acceptance of the way things have been, the way they are, how little control we really have over certain things in our lives, and accepting that everything is transient.

Recording of ‘If This Is The End,’ began in the fall of 2021 and Gundersen with a group of musicians including his sister Abby recorded the majority of the songs together in one room at Sage Arts Studio in Arlington, Washington.

Having released the singles ‘Swim’ and the albums title track, Noah has shared ‘Haunted House’. A somber reflection about feeling unworthy of love and the grace someone can offer after you’ve repeatedly let them down.

Gundersen will be touring the US with his full band in support of ‘If This Is The End’ this fall: Tickets along with VIP experiences are on sale now via Gundersen's website HERE
