Hot Off The Release Of ‘Earthly Delights' - Zilched To Perform At Chicago’s Empty Bottle On 8/23
Zilched has returned with new music, gracing us with her long-awaited second album 'Earthly Delights'. Released this past Friday, August 11th Via Young Heavy Souls. 'Earthly Delights' represents a harmonious fusion of grunge, goth-pop, and alt-rock, masterfully woven within the visionary artistry of Chloe Drallos, the gifted singer-songwriter from Detroit.
From the debut of the single ‘Loveless’ fans were granted a memorizing taste of the seamless marriage of new-wave and grunge influence that laden this stunning sophomore release. From the albums start, glistening synths and infectious rhythms paired with lyrics of the highs and lows of love evoke a sense of timelessness that feels as if the album could be the soundtrack of an iconic 1980s movie. The melodies possess an ethereal quality as if they have been born from the essence of the height of the goth-pop era, while woven with radiant modern production and artistry that evokes nostalgia while remaining intrinsically fresh and contemporary.
With her sophomore release Zilched has created a testament to the confluence of musical genres and influence of past eras.
Zilched will be performing at Chicago’s Empty Bottle on 8/23 and her tour continues out east in support of ‘Earthly Delights’.

ICYMI - Check out the stunning video for ‘Loveless’: "The song is like a conversation between lovers. Contemplating the purgatorial roller coaster that exists between freedom and unity,” Drallos says. “As for the video, I was inspired by disco TV performances and Giallo horror.”
