It’s All Smiles with Moontower

The word of the night: energy. The trio were all smiles and honestly I couldn’t tell who was happier to be there- the crowd or the band. They debuted a new song, Poolside, and after a little lyrical lesson they had the crowd singing along. In an emotional moment, Jacob departed the stage and sang a song dedicated to their mom from the middle of the room.

They ended on State of Mind, coming out May 5th. Despite it not having been released yet, some dedicated fans already knew what turned out to be my favorite song of the night. It was all about being kind to yourself and living life to the fullest, whatever that might look like for you.

My biggest takeaway from this show was how genuine and eager the band was to just fully enjoy themselves. Let’s be honest, their type of charisma is hard to come by. Moontower is beaming with the kind of energy that leaves you feeling full at the end of the night.
