If you ever go to a punk show, you know that you’ll definitely be in for a treat. Whether it’s the performance on stage or the people you’ll meet in the pit or both, you’re bound to go home from an unforgettable show.

The night started off with Negative Approach, a hardcore punk band that formed in Detriot in 1981. Their stage presence, even forty years later, is unmatched. It was a perfect way to start the night. They had a specific way to capture the crowd and pull them in and hype them up for the rest of the night.

The second band to go on was 7 Seconds, another hardcore punk band from Reno, Nevada. The band was formed originally by two sets of brothers but only has to remaining constant members, Kevin Seconds (vocals) and Steve Youth (bassist). Like Negative Approach, they were a perfect addition to this tour and meshed perfectly with the audience.

The last and final band of the night was the infamous Circle Jerks. Headed by former Black Flag vocalist Keith Morris, the Circle Jerks are a hardcore punk band formed in 1979 in Los Angeles. Since then, they have released six studio albums and many other forms of media. On this tour, they celebrated the 20th anniversary of their album Wild in the Streets. Although in his late 60’s, Morrison’s vocals still sound like one of a 20 year old while performing.

Punk shows are one’s that words can’t do justice for. So, if you ever have the chance to go to a punk show, go. You definitely won’t regret it.
